Bond Design Office revamped the Kalevala Jewelry brand. As part of this renewal, the flagship store on Keskuskatu in Helsinki was also updated. Bond designed spruce log jewelry displays for the store and contacted us.
Our task was to find trees that were as knotted and naturally broken as possible. The logs were located about 15 kilometers away from Oikari, in Kyyjärvi. We carefully felled and transported them, and made the necessary modifications. Jewall Oy from Seinäjoki, specializing in store furnishings, finished the logs, attached the jewelry displays, and delivered them to the client. The photographs taken by Paavo Lehtonen showcase the final result of our collaboration.
